Adding all my images at 3x this way would require me to resize all my artwork in Illustrator to the 3x size, save each item as a png, then manually add and name each of the files - a significantly more time-consuming project than the route I took.

One thing that makes Stencyl awesome is that you can drop in your images at a one size, then it will automatically generate the other sizes for you.  I was so happy when it was going to generate my 3x images for me after already creating the actors.  If Stency created those graphics from my original 4x work instead of blowing up the 1x images it generated from my 4x, then it would have worked out perfect!

I had to add 3x graphics to my game for the iPhone 6+, and I was stoked when I checked 3x and got the message to close the game and reopen to have them automatically generated.  The graphics looked horrible, though - it looks like they were generated from the 1x graphics.  I ended up having to drop in all my graphics again, deleting the original graphics, for each actor... which means I now also have to run all the graphics through a reducer again.  Major time suck:(.

So, my suggestion: Generate graphics at a new size using the original.

I want to add notifications to my game update I'm getting ready to submit (iOS).  I've loaded the extension, but I'm not really sure how to use the blocks, starting with not knowing where to even put the blocks (event type).  If anyone can give a little tutorial, that would be awesome - maybe even a pic of how the blocks are used successfully.  Thanks!!!

No, my issue is not the same.  Mine is about trying to scroll within an event to move block(s) of code.  It does not seem to matter how many/which type of blocks they are.  I can remove/drop them fine in the active coded, but scrolling to move the code is a pain. 

Also, to change my original comment: I scroll, it stops after a short bit, then I have to drop the code and re-grab to move again, over and over again, to move any sort of distance.  I've attached a video.  First I scroll up and down to show that it runs smooth - I used to be able to scroll like this while carry blocks.  Then I pull when out.  Whenever the screen stops moving, I'm still trying to move the code.  The circle around my mouse will show you that I let go, grab, then can move again.

I tried searching to see if this was already posted, but couldn't find anything:

It is nearly impossible to drag and scroll within a Stencyl event to move blocks around.  It moves a tiny bit, then stops, requiring me to lift  my scrolling fingers off the mouse pad and go again many time to move blocks around.  This is really slowing me down if I'm trying to move blocks to new locations or simply trying to remove a block from code (scrolling out far enough from long block so that it doesn't drop back into the code when the block is released). 

Sorry, but I just updated from a January version to the most recent version, so I can't say when the problem started.   It always has been easy to scroll around while holding a blocks until now.

I just searched out this thread because I was also using the extension, but the blocks are gone now that I've switched to OpenFL.  Glad for the heads up that it doesn't work.  An update would be GREATLY appreciated!!  Thanks.

This answered my question as well... I was hoping that it would return to the beginning of the loop after the timed event was complete, but I can see now that is not the case.  I will go about re-triggering the event every time instead.

I don't know if this would work, but I'd try having a boolean wrap around the always event.  The boolean would become false when the actor is pressed on and full rotation starts, then become true again after the rotation ends.

Thanks for letting me know begleaphr.  I was under the impression that there weren't any problems submitting to Amazon, so it's good to get the clarification.

I'm guessing setting up testing with the Kindle has not been a development priority, but it will happen eventually.  Can we get a confirmation or an ETA?

I was just checking back on the Kindle Fire topic.  Coleislazy started that other thread back in November, and I tried following up on it a month ago.  I just posted again, hoping to get an answer regarding testing games on the Kindle Fire and publishing to the Amazon store.
