I assume then you stop the sound upon a key release. Can't you stop the sound when all the direction keys are up?

I already tried this but then this command is getting executed every Frame nothing is pressed. Wich is better but not really nice either.

I want my Player to make sounds while walking. So Ive got a sound file here, wich I want to be looped while walking. And stop when the player does. It works, but not really good. When you change the direction too fast (without both keys beeing released) the order sometimes gets messed up. As you can see on the screenshot.

Plus: I dont want to stop all sounds. Only this one. How could I achieve this?

Well, I dont know how much sense it would make to spend that much time into some "book" about a programm wich is still that heavy in development. Im sure there are some pretty major changes to come. So your book would be really fast outdated and therefore near useless. Except you would keep on updating it wich would be really time intense in the future.

The only other thing you could do is to upload your Game on Forge. But if you do it this way, you would have to reupload and download it everytime you want to change the computer you are working on in order to have the latest version of your game.

So moving your folder is the most simple way to do it. And will ever be. I mean: How could it even be more simple?

Either I cant find it or you forgot something pretty important: Resetting the score.

I have 4 Scenes: 1 for the title, 1 for winning, 1 for losing and the game itself. The final score is shown in the winning and losing screen so it has to be persistant. If you press any button you get back to the title screen and can restart the game. Because there is no option to reset the score it keeps on adding to the old one.

I have tried "set Score to 0" at the titlescreen at "when created" but it didnt work.

I think it would be great if someone could add a poll to this thread where everyone can "vote" for his/her homecountry. So its possible to instantly see where everyone is from. This would make this thread a lot more useful.

I really like the atmosphere here. It has some kind of Metroid vibe to it. But I dont get what I am playing there. Is this supposed to be a soldier? A robot? Something else?  Could become a really good game if you keep on working on it!

The lightning thing is really cool too. Would be awesome if you could explain how you made this, cause I dont see a good way to get something like that done.

Alright. You have limited ammo which reloads itself after specific time by an specific amount.  Lets say you shot 7 out of 10 bullets. Now it reloads itself by adding 1 bullet every 2 seconds until it is at 10 again. While this happens you are still able to shoot so always have to have an eye on your ammo. It would add a strategic element to the game.

I hope you get what I mean.

Hi again. I am modifying the Ammo-Behavior and encoutered some problems.

This is the Code:

if current ammo is < max ammo
do every 2 seconds
repeat until current ammo = max ammo
increment current ammo by 1

If the ammo is under the max it should increase the ammo every 2 seconds by 1 until it is at max again. But it doesnt work that way. After those 2 seconds, it goes straight up to the max. And when I shoot the ammo loweres by 1 but instantly goes up the max again.

Hope someone can help me out. I dont know what im doing wrong.

I have published a game on here and now I have done a few improvements. Is it now possible to reupload the game? Something like changing the old file with the new in order to keep the comments and stuff? I havent found anything about it. If there isnt any function like that it defnetly needs to be implented...
