How about Terraria?

Irock, don't you hate Apple?
In the chat, when we talked about it (You probably don't remember), it gave me the impression you didn't like it.

Or maybe it's just that you don't like the new CEO?

Well, rest in peace, Steve. The mac, iPod, and iPhone are awesome.

Chit-Chat / Re: Linux has great games too.
« on: October 25, 2011, 12:26:31 pm »
Linux doesn't have better games, in my opinion-About the same. The good thing about Windows, though, is that there's more games exclusive to them. My favorite, though, is Mac, which barely has good downloadable games :P

Thanks Cole.
Trying is better than not trying, though you're probably right. Though it's not fair if they get all the ad revenue from the game that I made D:
Does it get a lot of views? Because if you're one of the only people seeing it, they're probably not even going to get a dollar from stealing your game.

Edit: Nevermind, just realized it's pretty popular. Yeah, Darkhog's post is probably your best bet.

Ask a Question / Tiles not showing, but are there?
« on: August 22, 2011, 04:25:22 pm »
I'm having a problem-I'm making a game, but the tiles aren't showing. On the edit mode they are, but in the game they're invisible. They're there, though-My actor collides with them. I don't know why, though. And when I changed them from size 16 to 32, it had my tiles invisible, and next to them (Where I put nothing) had some tiles (That were showing, not colliding) that I didn't even put, but were tiles in the tileset. Any help on how to fix this?

Ask a Question / Re: Why does my physics game not work?
« on: August 14, 2011, 06:00:26 pm »
Okay, so you're 10 years old, and you know how to program in 12 programming languages. Chances are extremely low that you learned to read right as you were born, since most kids learn how to read sentences that are more than "THE DOG RAN" by the time they are seven. That gives you four programming languages a year, which is virtually impossible. AS3 is baaaad.

Upload your game to forge so we can take a look at it.
He never said he wasn't learning them-I'm sure he only knows, for example, on Java, System.out.println :P

And please, if you program in all of those languages, how can Stencyl, a program with no necessary code whatsoever, will be so hard? Want gravity? Draw a scene, press 2 buttons and input 85.0. Want to make the guy walk? Go to the forge, download something, press a button, and configure text boxes. Now does that really seem so hard? :/
And to the problem, I'd recommend making a blank project. It's better in every way :D

Justin (From Stencyl Chat, I'm supposing his username is the same on here) was helping me and made a version of it without background music, and it worked. Any chance that was the problem? :/
EDIT: And on top of that, the project works on the homepage (No music), and freezes when the music is supposed to start :/

« on: August 14, 2011, 04:29:52 pm »
I made a game, but it doesn't seem to work on browsers. It works offline (When I press Test Game), but when uploaded (Stencyl.com or Kongregate), it just freezes your browser, making you need to force quit it. And it's not my computer, it happened to other people as well. I'm not sure if this was on the rest of the forum, I couldn't find it though. And for browsers, it happened on both Internet Explorer and Chrome. Any help? :/
(The project is http://www.stencyl.com/game/play/6304, enter at your own risk, it'd probably make you need to force-quit your browser)

Chit-Chat / Re: What Music Do You Like?
« on: August 06, 2011, 09:33:43 pm »
Classical Rock, and, well, Rock.
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, that sort of stuff :D And I like Beethoven too, even though it's classical.

I meant my project (The code was messed up), but I fixed it :P For some reason your actor behavior didn't import correctly the first time, but when I downloaded it again it worked... Well, whatever. Now it works fine :D

Resolved Questions / Re: Click and drag resource pack?
« on: August 06, 2011, 03:10:16 pm »
Are you asking to click and hold to drag and drop an object? Originally I thought you were asking to click and hold to drag a selection region, but the first makes more sense for a physics game I think.
Click and drag an object, I said actor, didn't I? :P
And to waterstorm, I haven't learned to use that yet, I'm planning on learning tomorrow, but today I want to toy with other things :P
