What will the best working way be to create an inventory, i have been struggling for 3 weeks now without making any progress.
I have an inventory slot actor that i want to use
At least 25 slots should be made
should be created in a rect 5 x 5 (5 slots/coulumbs each row) with about 5mm between each slot
I must be able to track what the numbers of each slot is because items in inventory will be recorded with the slot number.
when i think of the other stuff i wanted to say then il post em but please help me for now.
Please if u suggest code please give an explaination and clearly explain how to use it because i havent learned stencyl's syntax

BTW  what/ where / how will be the fastest and eaiest way to learn the styntax for coding (i am a programmer i am working in delphi atm and have worked in scratch before) AND i <3 Love <3 programming

Oh no i see what u meant there. I am strugling with making an inventory but the pics i have shown are from the same behaviour. I want to attach the inventory slots manager behaviour to the inventory slots and make them do all their processing themselves. so equip is when doubl clicked on self

I fixed it yesterday the error was I shouldnt have calculated the position with the actor's position or screen x/y or x of .... without it I automaticaly anchor it to the screen

And I wanted to use 3 actors for it so that it isnt just a plain box but right now i am using the draw rect and i can update it to actors later if i want

I am dodging the use of pre-shiped behaviours because if there is an error or something i dont want or dont like i dont have to go through the struggle of figuring out what the hell the people was thinking (seeing their comments lack, etc)

And i am rewriting a few of the pre-shipped behaviours over and as one massive behaviour

All I can do is tell you how to pause and unpause but I dont u think u need it. My menu doesnt work as well but I suspect it also has something to do with the fact that the centre of the screen isnt (0;0), (0;0) is at the top left of the map (Advice for creation), make the menu and its buttons a recycled actor for performance(Advice for performance), Set the properties of the actors on the menu and the menu to cannot be paused(Pausing advice), Goodluck!

Some advice for performance Create a Recycled actor (Rock) and dont kill it just recycle it.
