I have a level select scene that is longer than the screen size, so i want to be able to slide the camera across it by swiping my finger, aswell as easing to a halt when the finger has left the screen, how can i achieve this?

(specifically like this:
although mine will just be from left to right)

I am using an animated background for my scene (3 frames) and it works perfectly on PC, but when testing on mobile it does not repeat itself. is this a known bug? using build 8556

i'm making a side scroller, how do i get the percentage of level complete as an attribute using the x position of my actor and the scene width?

Nice game sdieters! Works great on my galaxy s6.

I will give you my first impressions and hopefully some constructive criticism.

The menu animations are great, but i found them a bit too sluggish for me, i believe you want to engage the user within the first 5-10 seconds or they will most likely just close the game and not bother with it (i do this a lot)

Also when i got to level 1, i had no idea what to do, there were no instructions, i was just pressing random letters trying to make a word (which i just assumed was the goal). But only later found out how to play after going back and reading the description on the play store. Of course, i took this extra step as a fan of you and your work, other users may not bother.

Overall the game looks polished and im sure the final release will turn out great!

Edit: The way i see a lot of puzzle games do it now is on first boot have the very first scene be level 1 with specific instructions with an obvious solution right in front of their face, this immediately engages the user

Things like this keep me cautious when upgrading, if i stumble upon a stable version i cling onto it and nurture it until is is entirely safe to move on :)
Right now 3.4 8556 has become a personal favorite

@Hectate  when the mouse is pressed, y speed is set to negate gravity (by 3) to jump

no, each level currently only consist of ~5 backgrounds, 1 tileset, and an actor that moves from the left to right of it
