Yes, use a custom event.

When created
Do after 3 seconds
Trigger ENEMYSHOOT (Your event name)

When ENEMYSHOOT happens
(Your bullet firing code goes here)
Do after 3 seconds

As for lives you need to use a number attribute with a default value of three and decrement it  each time the actor is hit. When the attribute = 0, kill the actor.

For yourself I don't see why LAMP/WAMP wouldn't work. If you were hoping to share this with friends, then that's not a workable solution.

Not sure why you're having a problem. I've done what you're trying to do without issue. Can you post your code? Are they colliding with one another? Maybe the joints extension can help you.

The idea isn't bad, but it looks like you've tried to create something to make money, and then wrapped a game around it.

When I first started using Stencyl I was convinced I was going to create the next big thing, but it didn't work out like that. However, after spending some time making games and learning, I've got to the point where people are really starting to like some of my new stuff.

So, keep at it. Keep learning, keep experimenting. It's also quite important to finish a project before you start the next.

1. With a behaviour attached to all scenes you want to include you can have an attribute that increases every second. Use a global map or list.

2. Use a boolean in your timer behaviour. Best to use a custom event that triggers itself every second.

When created
Trigger TIMER
When TIMER happens
If PAUSED = false
Increment NUMBER by 1
Do after 1 second
Trigger TIMER

3. You need to detect the collisions, then it's a case of destroying the item

When ITEM is killed
Increment LIVES by 1

4. Booleans

Set INVINCIBLE to true
Decrement LIVES by 1
Do after 2 seconds
Set INVINCIBLE to false

It's not though, it's a third-party software just bundled in.

Gimp is better anyway. Affinity also have some good alternatives to Adobe stuff.

I haven't had this problem in my games. As long as the game is in focus the screen should not scroll.

The easiest way is to use tiles, even if you make them transparent tiles.

A code method would mean checking the position of the actor.

If X of actor < 0, set X of actor to 0
If X of actor > (width of scene - width of actor), set X of actor to (width of scene - width of actor)

Do the same for Y and height of the actor.
