Saturday: 614
Sunday: 648
Monday: 625

Currently around the #50 position in the top free puzzle games charts for the UK.

Nice layout and fun game. Good idea to get round Apples payment structure, letting people test before buying is good. How many downloads did you get over the last 2 days? Free and IAPs?

I've just released a free game called Simple Mind Games and it got 695 downloads yesterday.

Day one download numbers are 695 free downloads. How does that compare to other free games?

Hey everyone,

I've just launched Simple Mind Games 2.0 for iOS.

Simple Mind Games was originally made with Stencyl about 3 years ago. It got over 100,000 downloads since then, so I decided to update it.

I rebuilt it from the ground up in Swift, making it a universal app. It's a collection of mini games, with a clean design and slick animations. There are 10 games, all with a 1 minute time limit.

App Store Link:

Hi again, it's a bit hard to understand exactly whats going on from that. I either need the behavior code or the game exported. If you don't want me to see your whole game, make a copy of it (Save As) then delete all the stuff except where the problem is. Then export it as a .stencyl

Hello, please attach the behavior and I'll have a look at it.

Sorry, you used the wrong blocks. There are specific as number blocks for the list getters.

I've done them all in the attached export. There is still a problem that I'm not sure about. Basically your game crashes when the circle is created, something you made have to look in to. So for now, I've removed the [create Circle every 1 second] bit.

Okay. It's a bit weird because I changed all the blocks to as number blocks and I got the game to build and run briefly on the simulator.

Please upload your most recent version.

I think I see the problem. With iOS you need to use the specific number and text blocks in the right places.

In this case you need to change all the [get Index from List] blocks to [get Index from List as number]

With the iOS Label behavior for text, you would need to use [anything as Text] blocks.

See if that stops the errors.

No, its positions on pixels. (divided by 2 if using the retina iphone.)

So to position stuff correctly, you will have to use the [screen width/height] blocks.

Say you have a pause button at the top right, it would be something like

[set x for (pause button) to [screen width - 30]]

That way it will always be 30 pixels away from the right hand side.

Flip the image in photoshop or something. Then create a second animation. Then find the code blocks that check the direction that the actor is facing, and use them to switch the animation.

Sorry, I just rushed that post.

Hello, sounds a bit strange.

I will have a look at the game with my version of Xcode if you like? Just attach the game export here.

I've had this before, I did manage to recover it by going to the files directly.

However, this will teach you the first rule of development. ALWAYS backup your work. Each night after I've finished, or before making a serious change, I always export my game to dropbox.

You need to be a Stencyl iOS subscriber to publish through Xcode. Also when you have subscribed you will have access to the iOS Pro forums. In there is a thread that describes how to publish through Xcode rather than Stencyl.

Here's the link to that thread, however, I don't think you will have access until you subscribe.,18762.0.html

I don't think apple will reject none iPhone 5 apps.
