The new multi-touch seems to be fixed in the lime update    :)

Also had an error in my code-- a mouse-driven event in a triggered behavior.
Removed it and viola, multi-touch seems to be working very well now

I still get errors even though Stencyl now has lime 2.6.8...

I'm getting a lot of these warnings (several dozen in a game):

Sorry about the confusion.  I had no idea that parameter existed.

Testing looks good so far !
To be honest, that one button is a BIG deal, and is almost buried in the GUI without docs. 
Sorry again,,, just under the clock on this project and had no idea how to unravel this.
Didn't hear from anyone else about this.

It's been several weeks and no one has downloaded the test game.  Seems like the issue is being avoided.

 Why bother loading and unloading atlases when ALL of them are loaded at startup ?
This defeats the purpose of 'atlas management', and is the weakest link in Stencyl IMHO.

The test game basically uses a 'if <atlas with ID _ is loaded>' to see if atlases are loaded, and ALL of them are loaded at startup, whether 4 or 16.  You can't release a game with a moderate-to-large graphic set to mobile platforms currently. 

My current game crashes at startup with anything over 1x graphics...  this was not an issue in Stencyl 2x.

I think you've done a good job with showing the Java 8 requirements in the downloads pages:

But you may want to add a warning message if the user tries to build with Java version <8. 
Maybe add a quick Java version check at an early stage of compiling to prevent users from posting these messages ?

I created a test game to show that Stencyl loads all Atlases on startup.

When testing the game, press the screen to see which atlases are loaded in various scenes.  In the first scene ONLY Atlas 0 should be loaded... but as you can see 1-3 are loaded  (all atlases sensed).

The problem with Stencyl games loading ALL Atlases on startup is that it crashes iOS devices with >1x artwork and moderate-to-large atlases. 

The game I've been working-on for 2 years played perfectly with Stencyl 2 using 2x & 4x artwork.  Now it crashes with anything over 1x loaded... after the splash screen, the game closes itself every time.  This needs to be fixed ASAP to release my game to mobile platforms.

Having a problem with the older version of this extension:
 
I have a 'fire' button (actor) on the screen.  When the Joystick is held-down, the fire button is ignored... even with Multi-touch enabled.   But, when I hold-down fire and touch the Joystick, the Joystick is responsive.

Is the Joystick extension disabling Multi-touch ?  Has this issue been fixed in the new version ?

WOW.

I've had some troubles testing a game in iOS9. 
Won't go through the details... but it's been 9 DAYS of testing, posting, and compiling.
Everytime the simulator worked, the device did not.

BUT...
Just found out that my game crashes due to memory overloads...  hi-rez art in atlases, all being loaded at startup.
I disabled 1.5x, 2x. and 3x, and exported the game as 1x only.
Now it works !

Logs show that the game loads all atlases at the beginning of the game.  This is not wanted.
So.... my question....

Is there any way to load only atlas id0 at initialization ?
I've disabled 'Default state of atlas binding' and 'Atlas to bind by default' to 'No Atlases', but it doesn't seem to change anything.

This system is broken ?
Is there any temporary fix ?
