hi  guys
I'm using stencyl 3.3
when I'm trying to import a resources (containing two characters)  wich I saved earlier I get this error message:

Dude, I pretty sure something wrong with the file size,
It takes ages to load (here at my home and on my office computer also)

have you checked the file size?
if its too big try check the project scale... maybe you didnt exlude hige resolution assets

cool game,
graphics are nice and simple
it takes some time (maybe little bit too much) till you get to the interesting parts.
I mean , the mechanics are pretty simple so you can get to the  spikes and double jumps earlier .

wait, is that block is a character?

thers a block named set (x-speed) to _ for self

under actor>motion   tab

This is actually my first serious game.
Its a platformer combining controlling over 2 different characters   simultaneously.
16 levels total.

I know it a little bit hard at first... I was designing the levels after I had a few hours messing around with the mechanics so things were looks a little bit easier from that point of view. (notes were taken)

Nice game I really like it.
The levels order may be little different at my opinion  , ;D It took me something around 6 min to pass level 2.
but seriously graphics are great and the mechanics are good too.

I'm not sure about how you use your physics properties but one way to do it (without touching your physics properties) is to set x speed and y speed of the block to zero when there's no collision between the block and the player.

I don't see this as the others. Maybe the fact that you are not earning money is not the problem. Maybe you're just doing too much computer and not enjoying life for your parents. For them in summer you have to be outside.
And I think they's right ( I know for myself that if I didn't have a dog and a hobby I would be inside all day). Try not to spend all day on your computer, go outside, have fun with friends, try new activities.
Your parents only want you to have a balanced life. And you know that the best coding you can do is when you're not on a computer ;)

I think the best way to convince is by acts.
set goals with them like : earning some amount of money till the summer. that way you can proove  them that its possible or the other way,maybe you'll get some new POV on game industry and how its work.

it looks like you right although I still didnt succeed solving the problem entirely  I guess im still missing somthing but Ill have to sit a little bit more time on it before re i post again  :)

do I need to kill all the characters before reload the scenes?  does it free up the memory?
