I've tried installing the extensions, but can't get it to show up in the game. Not only that, the Simple Share extensions as well. Basically any downloaded extensions will give me the same results.

Anyone can help me with this? I've tried installing a previous version of Stencyl but its still the same. My extensions don't show up. I did as instructed, but it's still the same. I've reverted back to the latest version. My extension is enabled under Settings. But I don't see any additional blocks. My Extensions Manager is blank too.

That's why I was hoping I could get the extension in my game. Still trying to figure out why the extension is not showing at all! But  still, thanks for helping me!

Oh! I checked out the Facebook Share Button, but I was looking to share the player's scores on FB. How do I do that? I believe it would mean having to take a screenshot of the player's score and have it sent to FB.

Resolved Questions / Extensions don't appear in Stencyl

I've tried downloading the Simple Share extension and I followed the steps to install. I didn't Extract the .zip file that I downloaded.
I opened Stencyl and under Extension, I click Install Extension. Then I closed and open Stencyl again. The Simple Share was there, enabled. I then tried to create the FB share event, but I can't find the Share Message block as shown in the thread.

I tried to re-enable and reopen Stencyl, but to no avail. Under the list of blocks contain Actor, Flow, Input, etc, the Extensions part is blank.

What could I have done wrong?

Apps that read or write data outside its designated container area will be rejected

Apps that download code in any way or form will be rejected

Apps that install or launch other executable code will be rejected

I suppose that if we were to create a game using Stencyl,  we won't be violating these right?

I can't find the Share Message block after I installed and Enabled the Simple Share extension. My version is the Free Version. Is it only available after I upgrade to Studio?

I purposely create my buttons at both the extreme left and right side of the screens to test the different scaling Options. The device I used is a Redmi Note 4G with a 5.5" HD IPS display

Even though my phone doesn't require the 4x graphic, I still selected everything just to be certain.

My graphics are imported at the ratio of 1920x1280, so my button is not 1920x1280, but in the ratio as compared to the background. Graphics are imported at 4x, Bilinear with Anti-Aliasing turned on.

Attached are the results for the different scaling modes. I've also attached a screenshot of what it's supposed to look like.

It's not just the buttons, but the overall graphics itself is also being stretched/cutoff/ etc.

So far, the best option seems to be Scale to Fit (fullscreen) or Stretch to Fit in terms of not cutting any graphics.

Can I ask, will the Stretch to Fit option also use the 4x graphics when imported to a larger screen device? Or will it use the 1x graphic and stretch it 4x? I'm a little confused because under Scales, there are 1x - 4x, and under Scale mode there are options like Stretch and Scale. So it seems like Stretch doesn't use the scale and the Scale uses scales. Haha! Too much usage of the word Scale.

Anyway, attached below are the different results on my phone. Hopefully it'll help!

I already watched the video and its the same way I create and import my graphics. Right now I'm using Anti-Aliasing and it helps quite a bit, usable for now.

When I export my game to mobile, there are disadvantages like screen got cut off or there are black spaces. I read on Stencylpedia and am aware of the scaling issues in Stencyl. Like if I put a button at the edge of a screen, when exported to a bigger screen mobile, the button got cut off. There are different scaling options to choose from but they all have their disadvantages.

But is there a way to have it scale and fit properly without those disadvantages?

Just asking even though my game has little buttons and I can smack them right in the middle without any worries, but it's for future references.

Can I pause a moving background?

How do I change the frame of an actor and have it remain the same frame when I change scenes and go back to it again?

I'm trying to make a Mute button and when I change scene, the frame of the actor goes back to the initial one.

For mine, I set my score to Do every 1 sec, increment of Score +1. Then i set Global score attribute to Score.

And if actor collides with actor of type, kill self, switch to Game Over scene.

Under Game Over scene, draw text Global Score at ....... and of coz, set the font.

Hopefully its what you're looking for!

I turned the anti-aliasing on and it did helped a bit. But it isn't as crisp and clear as it should be. But still better than the initial stage. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. I was thinking it could be the file format of the image.
