a getter versoin of set volocity
a getter versoin of  the push block
a setter and getter of air friction

if you can do this I definitely use it

Here's how I did it:

ok so can you tell me what you set speed to?

I need to test speed being my directional motion

Edit wait won't this way set my motion when i press the forward key?
i don't want to do that I want to simply limit the push towards degrees with force

Edit again:
can you help me with some math
I want set a speed attribute to decrease depending on motion maybe and the attributes max speed and acceleration speed
so when max speed is reached speed will be 0
this way I can use the push motion block with speed

ok forget the post I posted earlier
how would I simulate two scenes?
one for my hud and one to put into the hud's screen port?

kinda like two windows but the inner one not able to be moved.

i'm making a asteroids like game
however I don't like the feel of the behavior that is built into stencyl

I would like to be able to control my ships acceleration rotation and max rotaion with rotation speed via a value being not so physic like

I would like to be able to control my ships acceleration and max speed(acceleration being a value plus a modifier attribute called spd)

I would like to be able to control my ships coaster rate with it not being so physics like

4. I would like to control the friction of the movement

I would like to be able to set the left dodge and right dodge input tap delay 0 being can do it without tapping and -1 being they can't do it at all

6.I would like to return the inputs for left right up down rightdodge leftdodge

I would also like to control the acceleration(not a constant speed just a inpulse) of the dodges being not so physics like

I would like to  be able to use animations like idle, forward, backward, right, left, right
dodge, left dodge

8. finally I would like a Boolean option for  if it moves the  object or the rooms virtual position
for example the rooms virtual position is other objects plus their current speed, and the parallax
this is for infinite looping 

edit also yes I want this to be a behavior i can reuse

I was just wondering if someone could help me step by step writing my own asteroid movement code
I want It to be less physics like then the built in behavior

I want  hspeed vspeed speed friction maxspeed and directional motion
but sadly I am new to stencyl and I don't have any built in variables like in game maker studio

can someone make a extension called easy motion

it would have both getters and setters for:

1. lengthdir_x(len,dir) = cos(degtorad(dir))*len
2. lengthdir_y(len,dir) = -sin(degtorad(dir))*len
3. speed would work like explained  here
4. motion add would work like explained here 
5. airfriction would work like explained here

yes this is all based on gamemaker studio plz don't judge I think it would add nice support in stencyl
