Liberado, I just managed to get signal on my 4g to open this on my laptop..

Did you go to the effort to make that to show me how it can work? If so then you're a legend my friend, Thank you :)

Could I please ask you how you are controlling the movement of the bucket and what blocks you used? Or if possible allow me to download this project to learn from?

Again thank you for you efforts :)

I'm away on business and can't view this plug in on my phone but I'll take a look on Thursday.

Thanks Liberado :)

I feared this was the case after reading back through earlier comments that had mentioned about set x and slide not working with collisions, I was just hoping for a way around it but it's understandable why it doesn't work.

Thank you to everyone that replied and I'll start having a play around with other methods.

So does nobody know how to help me with this problem or can anybody confirm if it's not possible so I can just give up on it and stop trying to fix it :(

So that if the screen is accidently pressed anywhere else then it doesn't stop the buckets movement.

This process again is working perfectly when you don't move the bucket too quickly but as soon as you up the pace and move it fast then the CCD starts failing and the leaves can pass through the bucket walls. At the same time the ' when actor enters region' also starts failing as it seems to be taking longer to run the event than it does to move the bucket away.

The whole problem would  be solved if I could get the CCD to do as it suggests it should :/

I've tried setting the CCD at the physics settings section and also tried setting it in the event during the actor creation, Neither seem to have any effect on the actor in the slightest.

Is it possible that I somehow have CCD disabled to world in another setting somewhere without realising maybe?

Or is it just a case of a limitation of the game engine and maybe CCD does not work if both actors are in motion?

Here's a screen shot of the whole process from creating to killing the leaf..

Thanks

Just tried changing it to a circle but it's still tunneling :(

The collisions are working as they should at slow speeds just not with quick movements?

Also my collisions for the actors

Thank you :)

That didn't work as now I can slide onto a falling leaf and it can break through the outside of the bucket if I'm moving quickly and get inside through the bucket wall lol

I'm out of ideas now :(

I've just discovered that if I set a collision method for the two actors colliding that this kills the actor instantly and there is no delay like there is when using a always updating method.

Any explanation for why these update at different rates?

I can't set this for my bucket and leaves as they would be also killed by the outside of the bucket. What I am going to try is a another hidden actor inside the bucket to collide with and kill the leaves. Although it seems a bit of a messy work around when the enter region event should be killing the actors instantly rather than waiting a fraction of a second yo do so.

Thanks

To add the collision zones work perfectly also if you don't move the bucket actor to quickly.
