I am not sure but this might be the problem.

create an actor type attribute for enemy instead of actor type and in when updating,add:-

Inside the for each actor of type block(found under Scenes>Actors),put:-

set x to x center of "Player" attribute -x center of actor of type
set y to y center of "Player" attribute -y center of actor of type
point actor of type towards [atan2(y:y  x:x)] as degrees.

Create a scene behavior.
Make two actor attributes:-Enemy and Player.
Make the attributes x and y as you created in the image above.
In when updating,insert:-
set x to x center of "Player" attribute -x center of "Enemy" attribute
set y to y center of "Player" attribute -y center of "Enemy" attribute
point "Enemy" attribute towards [atan2(y:y  x:x)] as degrees.

And attach the scene behavior to your scene and choose both the actors.

Honestly speaking,
The code is so long and complicated due to so many attributes(some of which are undefined) that it is difficult for a newbie like me to find the error.

It is not installed but you don't have to install LAME encoder in ubuntu.

1.Create a number attribute "Time".
2.In when updating,
add:-do every 0.1 seconds tab ,and in that insert increment "Time" by 0.1 found under Numbers&Text.
If "Time"<=0.1
switch animation to "tilt-half" animation.
otherwise
switch animation to "tilt-full" animation
4.Put the above code in:-
If "mouse is down block".

With those two sets of code,
You can see that there are 7 animations of actor switching randomly each time you play it.
After all the animations it just stops switching animations.

The movement controls are very smooth and the tile based movement is a very good idea.
But the  battle thing needs to be worked upon.

Do not delete items.
Instead set the value of #randomiser item from list to negative and add a repeat until looping your code to get the randomiser value more than or equal to zero.
You can see in IMAGE 2 to see how I did it.
