Since you can add your own custom code in stencyl, I was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to drop in adwhirl or admob for in game ads rather than having to use iads?  Thanks

Sorry I've been meaning to reply to this but just haven't had time.  The solution was pretty simple actually, I was really just assigning the behavior in the wrong place.  I attached this behavior to the actor instead and that fixed it.  Basically I made two number attributes called end x and end y.  Then used a setter to set x of initial touch and y of initial touch on when created.  Then that passes through to an always if statement which basically tells the actor that when it is within a certain range of the xy touch replace with a different actor which is my animation.  Hope that was clear enough please see the attachment.

In short I have a cannon which launches an object when that object reaches x y of initial touch it gets replaced with an animation.

I'm not sure but I think I'm on the right track.  What I'm trying to do is track the xy coordinates of the initial touch on screen and have my actor fly to that point then spawn a new actor in its place.  Attached is what I'm doing but it just isn't working and I'm getting lost now.  I was originally just spawning collision boxes which work ok but then the boxes eventually get in the way of each other and it just doesn't work well.  Any help would be great.  Thanks!

Nothing?  Anybody?  This seems to be a real problem and I've found other posts that went unanswered from people with a similar problem.  If I'm missing something that would be great to know.  I really want to purchase the ios Pro but lack of support is exactly the thing that worries me most about this program.

So the following behavior works great, sort of!  This rotates the actor to where the user clicks.  It works just fine in Flash but when I put it in IOS it doesn't.  Not sure why but searching the forums I don't seem to be the only person with problems similar to this.

Thanks for the reply.  Any chance you could give me a sample or more detailed explanation?  I'm just not sure exactly how or what I need to change in the existing behavior.  I took it out of the "if touch is down" and now it works but I want it to make the full rotation to the last touch before it goes to where you touched again. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm using the attached code behavior to make my cannon rotate to the angle of where the user touches on the screen.  For the most part it works, however if you stop touching it instantly stops rotating before it gets all the way around to the direction of the tap.  So basically I want it so that you tap and it rotates all the way to that direction.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!

Hold on a second, I'm glad I came across this post as I'm a newbie as well.  I want to be sure I understand correctly.  So are you saying we can only design games at 320x480 resolution?  Or that is just how you should set it initially, but if your images are 640x960 and being launched on iphone 4 or 4s it will use that higher resolution?  Obviously I want the highest resolution possible for my iphone games.  I would appreciate clarification. Thanks!

Hello, I'm new to Stencyl and am having a problem with crash course 2 part 8 not working.  I've checked, double checked and rechecked my game and it still won't work.  Is the tutorial just old?  Made for an older version of Stencyl?  First of all my ship won't move right or left at all.  Also when I get to the end:

Step 64: The last thing we need to do is set the Ship Speed value. Click on the Attributes tab at the bottom of the Palette.

Then set the Attribute’s Default Value to 20.

There is no option to set the attribute's default value to 20.

Anybody know what's wrong?  Thanks in advance!
