Bug Archives / Something wrong with build 9179?
« on: June 15, 2016, 06:43:39 am »
Seems there's something wrong with 9179, almost for me.
After installing new version I've make a new game and create and actor with an only animation.
Attached you can find 1x and 2x screenshot using flash test.
As you can see 1x is ok but 2x has big issue.

Anyone experiment something like that?

Thanks, David.

Hi!
Our graphics have been working hard on our trading card game from the beginning and we all spent a lot of time in the design and realization phases of Icons for this project: now you can find here some of the main final Icons of “Redemption-The Third Era”.

A friend always liked to make a chocolate sausage thing. Have you heard of something called salame di cioccolato?
Yes Ceosol,  it's  all true and here in Tuscany you can get it homemade!

Ask a Question / Re: Collision disable
« on: March 10, 2016, 01:49:12 pm »
I don't know, but that would be easy to test.  Create a bunch of actors that are set to cannot move but are in a group that collides with itself.  Then compare the game performance to the same actors in the doodads collision group.

Thanks for the tip.

You can remove the collision shape of any actor.

Going to try, Thanks.

David.

2. When tween two actors with "Cannot Move" physics, for example moving on the screen use moveTo, Engine take frame to check if they are colliding?
Actors that are set to cannot move cannot collide with each other.

Thanks again Rob1221, but my question is a bit more deep. I know that Cannot Move objects don't collide, but I don't know if they avoid collision procedures or they make procedures and then avoid: in my feeling, obliviously can be wrongs, seems some some calculus are made also when Actors are flagged with Cannot Move.
For example framerate seems downgrade if I move something with a good speed over a pile of other Actors flagged with Cannot Move.
Working by exclusion I would like to know If moving actors with Cannot Move use frames for collisions, in order to exclude them from frame leakers.

Thanks Ceosol for advices :)
David.

Thanks a lot.
Another couple of questions:
1.  Collision Engine works if there's no collision event established on Behaviors?
2. When tween two actors with "Cannot Move" physics, for example moving on the screen use moveTo, Engine take frame to check if they are colliding?

Thanks again, David.

Thanks a lot yoplalala for your response and for your point of view to my issue.
Is there any other one with this kind of issue and can suggest some other solutions?

Thanks, David.

Here you can find our avatars: we think it's a good idea to better characterize our profiles, so we'll use them both for our website (within the "About us" section) and our game profile.

You can always follow us on facebook and g+ or Twitter @RedEvoGames

Thats awesome. You should try to slip your avatars into the game as easter eggs :)

Thanks Ceosol, that's a very nice idea!

Ask a Question / Overlapped Actors and Behaviors
« on: February 11, 2016, 07:00:07 am »
When you press mouse on a point where are two or more Actor with a onMousePressed (or released) event every actor with this kind of behavior trigger and execute script.

Anyone has an idea about how to trigger only one of these? Especially i'm interested to trigger the behavoir of actor on front.

Thanks in advance, David.
