getBitmap() just returned tilesheet.nmeBitmap in the old version if testing outside of Flash.  Now it's just "bitmapData" on every platform.

2
Replace "tilesheet.nmeBitmap" with "bitmapData"

Did the origin points of your actors change?

I'm guessing this is due to drawing something far off screen.  If you have each actor check if they're on screen before drawing their text, the problem might go away.

Fixed in b10319.  For older builds you can go to stencylworks/tools/ and manually unzip the file (format is 7-zip).  You can also set a different image editor under File > Preferences > Editors.

The fix will be in the next public build, but I don't know when that will be.

Is this only happening since the current public build, or did it also happen with the previous public build?

Changing the "order" values all to 0 might at least let you open the scene, but if there are multiple actors on the same layer this error will likely keep happening.  The data saved in the xml files is correct, but the way Stencyl is adding the actors to the layer's list is incorrect.

actor.currAnimation.smoothing = true;

You may need to edit plaf/haxe/lib/stencyl/1,00/com/stencyl/graphics/BitmapAnimation because smoothing is reset each time the bitmap is updated.

A memory bug was fixed in b10317 that caused higher scale graphics to be created in memory even when those higher scales were disabled in settings.  The combined image area of scales higher than 1x is over 30x the 1x image size, so that's a lot of memory savings.

This error is avoided in b10318 by constraining the index to the length of the array and providing a warning in the logs when that happens.  This may result in a different order of actors within the same layer, although I haven't seen that in testing.  A more proper fix can be done at a later time.

Does this error only happen with the new options to move an actor within a layer?

Same problem reported here: http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,58278.0.html

So far it doesn't seem to be a game-specific problem.  Your client and the OP in that linked post are both on Mojave, so that might have something to do with it, although the other dev who had a similar error with HTML5 is on High Sierra.
