Is this the issue that can be solved by dragging the app onto the desktop then back into the folder? Could be a different issue but I remember having to do that.

Hmm, I guess not as you're changing the speed at which it updates. Have you tried that code in a drawing event? That typically runs at 60fps, and it may be independant.

Another option to try could be to use a do every block, but that may also be affected.
Do every 0.01
set x of os mouse on x  of actor
set y  of os mouse on y actor

Is it the actual OS cursor, or an actor you're using as the cursor?

You can use groups to set which actors can collide with one another.

Settings > Groups

(Actor) > Properties > Choose Groups

I notice that you have each number button as an actor. You could have one actor with each number as an animation. Then it's easier to set animations based on loop count.

Create  ACTOR at Y 32 x current loop count + 100
Set animation for last created actor to 1 + current loop count as number

You can use loops to place all the buttons. That will greatly simplify things.

I'd place the buttons using code and set the Y value of each relative to the previous one, then when the first one moves, they all move.

You can't. Try removing scales you don't need, compressing music and cleaning the project to get it under 16mb. Otherwise upload it somewhere like newgrounds.

If your platform is an actor, you can remove and replace it's collision shape (or turn it to/from) a sensor depending on the Y value of your actor. So if your actor's Y value is less than the platform's Y value, turn collision on, otherwise turn it off.

You'll need to account for your actor's height when calculating this.

If you're using tiles it's still easily possible, but a little more complex.

Yes. Tile API

Scenes > World > Tiles

Note that in order to remove the collision shapes of the tiles, the tiles will need to be added using the Tile API in the first place.

As for the animations, it may be possible with some custom code. It could be done if you used actors instead of tiles, but if you have loads of them you might run into performance issues.
