Bug Issue: PNG and JPG. Is this a bug ?

I don't know if this is a bug, but on 3.4 I haven't had any problem if I tried to use jpg images (I renamed the extesion to .png) both on flash, and mobile (Android and iOS).
Now on 3.5 it recognize that an image isn't a png, so I have error in the log, and I cannot compile for mobile. While I can compile for flash, but when I switch on a scene with jpg image, the project crash.

These are the messages  for flash :

This is an example when I load the game :

C:\StencylWork\games\GameTest\resources\1-0.png isn't a png image

I'm surprised that worked at all before. We don't support the use of jpg as images. Convert them to png first.
