Grab a block and drag it over the trash, and continue dragging it into the palette. Then drop it. Watch it return to where you dragged it from, still transparent and apparently not taking up any space. Be amazed.

This actually turned out to be two bugs.

The block remaining transparent and the trash can remaining orange were one bug.
The "spaceless" block is actually something that can be seen by dragging the block anywhere where the drag is canceled when you release.

Both are fixed in b9129.
