Added a new feature with gesture moves.  Depending on the gesture you make while touching the screen- you get a 'tricky' bonus.  Your finger leaves a trail.  Making 'o' gives you bonus, check mark or 'v', or 's' etc.

Will be in next update with much more!

Its cool. Saw the updates. It didn't really make it clear how to play the game. Downloaded it. It seemed to run smoothly. Where do we use the promo codes at? Just curious. Well done. If you have I would recommend making an instagram page and then following other indie companies and people on there and start building a real fan base for your games before marketing. Cuz I think 10 dedicated fame in better than 1000 or 10000 people that might see it and may or may not click, but it you've got the budget go for it. Later.  :D

Thanks

Yea I should make a tutorial.  Hopefully in next few months, I want to try to get a mini video tutorial but not quite sure how to do it at the moment.  I realize there are many interpretations of touching thru the sack  ( how fast ).

As the goal is to hacky or juggle as low as possible to rapidly get more points, and as more come on screen kick them higher up so you can juggle more.

I'm not really sure about promo codes- it's for people who haven't bought it ( free test basically ) think you input at the App Store.

Thanks for the input/feedback... It's a one man team and I have a pretty busy life ;)... Lol  but I will definitely be improving and adding content to this regularly.  Either this update or next I will submit to some sites and add links to other web pages.  Lots of things planned!

Next update will be pretty beefy  :)

  Appreciate the support!

Yep it's a process like anything with plenty ups and downs.  I'm learning a lot but also enjoy doing it so that helps a lot to continue forward.

It acts as my second job, but really would like it as my primary.  But like anything it takes time.  This incoming January update will improve it tenfold.  I updated the blog with a couple screenshots showing off the revamped graphics, HUD and a menu.

Hopefully I can upload better video/trailer once the update is done.  I have friends who play the first hackysack level and score like 800.  I can score 3,000 - some wouldn't know but you can juggle about 8 sacks at once by hitting them further… a few strategies, with the gestures coming in January update will help more with gameplay.  Challenges are nice for variety.

I need to find good music too...

<EDIT> Update should be launching sometime next week (Jan.13) - as stated, lots of improvements all around, graphics, effects, levels, tutorials, challenges, and a new BasketSack.  Imagine kicking a sack into a basketball hoop where the airtime dictates your score.  Very addicting!  Leaderboards will be included.

Cheers.

I have released a free version of HackiStar now.  It comes with two levels and a facebook share high score button.  And leaderboards.

Also, stay tuned for my Flappy Birds parody coming out in two weeks (possibly earlier) - it's called Flap Tap and Crap.  Universal App that is optimized for retina devices - iphone or ipad.  It'll be free as well - with Ads.

I made a Flash version seen below, but isn't quite optimized for Web.  The iOS versions run smooth.

Cheers!
