Its really good for your first post/stencyl project however, I think the biggest issues are:

*Player jumps too high
*First 10 seconds of the game is too hard
*The Malware has no 'hint' as to what it is going to drop on the player.  Is it a bomb? is it a timer?

Really needs an easy way to get rid of the timers, without waiting around for bombs.  Even when you do get lucky and get a timer to land on another timer, it stays there forever.  That can really ruin a players day if you get lucky and get a few timers to spawn instead of bombs.

I do like the player moving fast tho, its refreshing.

The game has to be new (not something you've already published), and it has to be complete.

The game is not new... You released the game serveral weeks before the jam was even announced. Jon or judeges, what's should be done?

That isn't obvious from the game page since 1 month ago is still after the contest start.

Is there any clear evidence that the game was published prior to the Jam start date?

I think Warzone is referring to the fact that this game's release predates the original post of this topic by quite a bit. If you look at the comments section, one goes back over a month ago. That being said, that doesn't necessarily make it fall outside of the jam timeline; just shortly after the jam was announced.
Do NOT PM me your questions, because I likely will not respond. If I have replied to your question on the forum, keep using that topic. Thanks!

http://www.stencyl.com/game/gamelist/none/newest/60 that's the link to the game on the newest section. I remember writing that review about 1 week after it was released... And I remember playing it before the jam was even announced... Yes, that's not enough proof, but I'll look into it more and give you un-deniable proof that it was released before the jam was announced.

Update!
I looked up Bot Challange on announce your game section... He never announced it... Thus, hiding the best evidence of him releasing it early...  But... Isn't it strange that he might have released it on the first day, but announced it 1 day before it ends??? I distinctly remember it being realsed before it was announced... But again, that isn't considered proof.

We should ask the developer to state the truth of when he realsed it.

Also, Rob, does Stencyl not monitor the date if when games were released? Shouldn't Stencyl be able to look-up what day a game was released?

And, developer... I'm not out to ruin your game... I just think I saw this game before the jam was announced, and I don't want  someone to possibly win un-fairly... If I'm wrong, I am VERY sorry...

Let's refrain from playing witch hunt here. I could understand if the game were off the pants impressive and in contention for the top spot, but that's not the case here. In such a scenario, I'm pretty sure that someone out there would (anonymously or privately) slip us a note.

This user is participating via an art class at the University of Michigan, registered a couple days before the jam was announced and isn't trying to game the system. A slew of students sent in student discount requests around that timeframe, so I have indisputable proof that that is the timeframe around which any sort of work began.

There are a couple other entries from the same class and from my perspective, if anything was ever "published", it was a work in progress for feedback from other students in that class. The other game this user has published (it bears the same logo and similar main character) very clearly shows that.

Sorry it turned into a "witch hunt"... I really didn't want to play the bad guy... But it kinda looks like I'm trying to make that guy look bad... But I'm not, I don't want to call out in people like that... I don't know?... And I feal bad for calling out on that dude saying he's breaking the rules... Now i feal like im the hated guy thats hated because he hates everybody... I'm sorry for causing this drama... ( wow! I'm terrible with words )

You made the point that it might have been released as " work in progress " but, it couldn't have been published as work in progress if it was in the newest section... Only " published games " can go to the newest section... So the " work in progress theory " isn't possible... Really the only thing that needs to be confirmed is when he released it...........

No what, it's not worth the trouble... I'm fine with dropping it where it is... There was no need for me to make a big deal out of it... It doesn't matter.....

Sorry for causing so much drama. Sorry for calling out on sombody. And sorry Jon, Rob, Innes, and Photon for talking back...
