Problems with built 8120

Hi Stencylers,

I just downloaded the built 8120 and after compiling my game for iOS testing on a device (iPhone 5). My game scaled up way bigger than it supposed to do. I tried different scale configurations without any result. My game now crashes as soon as I touch the screen, something it didn't used to do.

Is this a current issue and I have to wait for a new built or something fundamentally changed in this new build?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, it is a current issue most likely caused by the upgrade to the latest OpenFL. We try to fix it soon.
You can also use the build from before the upgrade which is linked under the red note here

I tried to used the previous built, but Stencyl compiled forever without actually build the game. I think it's because I'm using the same project I already used with build 8120.

Sadly I didn't back up my game before compiling it with the built 8120. I guess I'll have to wait for you guys to fix the problem with OpenFL.

Thanks a lot for your help CaptainComic!

If it's compiling forever, try hitting Save button, it will stop compiling. Then after it's done, compile againt. Worked dosens of times for me.

The scaling issue should now be resolved in the latest build. Please verify on your end. Thanks.

Hi again,

just letting you know the results of built 3135 on my end. It definitively worked better than built 8120 but it still have three issues:

1. The scaling remains in full scale letter box no matter what scale option I choose.
2. The 4x images pixalete a lot in retina display
3. None of my buttons in the main screen work. They used to worked just fine before and they do in the flash and browser version of the game.

I attach a screen shot of my game in iPad retina

Thanks for your effort.

It definitively works a lot better (built 8141)

There's still a little issue with Scale to Fit (Full Screen) I attach some screen shots of my game for you to see.

Thanks a lot for all your efforts.

As a couple other devs discovered, scale to fit (full screen) is incorrectly behaving like scale to fit (fill).
