Stencyl Jam 2016 - October 7-16 - Theme = "Spooky!"

Hey everyone,

It's Stencyl Jam time again!

This year we are going for a 10 day Jam that will be hosted on Gamejolt. There will also be a theme which will be announced the day before the jam starts. Ill give more details on how to submit your game closer to the start of the jam.

Prizes will be,

1st Place $300 + Stencyl Studio license
2nd Place $150 + Stencyl Studio license
3rd Place $50 + Stencyl Studio license

Winners picked by a Jury.

So the Stencyl Jam is fast approaching, entering your game is pretty simple. You need to upload your game to Gamejolt.com and put the jam hashtag in the description #StencylGameJam your game will then automatically be entered into the game Jam.

Its also fun to make a post/devlog about your game as a new topic here in the game jam section on Stencyl.

It's October 6th London time isn't it? So... when do we expect the theme?

I would expect that the theme would be announced at the start of the jam, or at the very least not long before. Patience!

Agree and besides, it is around 6:40a.m. in California. I doubt they would rise that early.
