Events With Tiles [Solved]

That quote from Hectate is from early 2014. I don't remember exactly when the 'data for collected tile' block came out, but the Stencylpedia entry for it is dated late 2015.

How does the box kill the tile? My approach would be to write a custom block "kill tile at row, col" that I can call whenever something happens that results in the tile being removed. The custom block would contain the code to use the Tile API to remove the tile and add its id to the record you want to maintain.

@merrak, Can post a screenshot. How would I code this custom block with the Tile API code?

@everyone, One more question: Is there such a block : "If actor kills tile"? Do we have any blocks for this?
Peace

How do we set who is actor 1?
(sorry for the basic questions, I don't generally use collision blocks)

When it says on the block
" When an actor of actors hits an actor of tiles "
Is tiles  a actor group for only actual tiles, or is it just a actor group with the name tiles. I'm curios because I could add normal actors to that group.....

It is a group for actual tiles only.

So why does Stencyl let you add normal actors to that group?

I have never added actors to the Tiles group. By default, it contains all actual tiles.

Yeah me too. I'm just wondering why Stencyl allows users to add actual actors to that group. Causes a lot of confusion. Anyway, this case is solved. Thanks for all your help LIBERADO!

I've added actors to the tiles group before in cases where they behave the same as tiles.

So you are kind of converting a actor into a tile? But still having the default abilities of actors?

I guess you could say that.
