is there a file that has all the things you made combined into one?

like cut scene thing I plan to buy if it can be mixed with rpg elements and some sample battle system like your unfinished platform kit.

I just need the cutscene thing mixed with a battle system with party members following you around.

I plan to use no code or blocks, just literally modifying the kit im not even capable of combining what you have as I cant bother to figure that out as I dont know how to add even the smallest battle system (Like a sword swinging at something to cause damage)

Those boss AI things look delicious.

Im really good at replacing your creations with my own artwork however.

I think what im asking is are the behaviors for say the dash attack, the sword attack, collision with pre made enemies floating out there anywhere?

Im really looking forward to an AI resource pack or sample game for complex enemies/Opponents like that wizard in the cutscene pack and party follow.

The stuff in my itch.io page are all that is available for now. Regarding an AI resource pack, I'd have to check my stuff and see if it's even viable.

Regarding the file with everything I made combined: that's what the kit will be, pretty much. Though with the cutscene pack, it includes an RPG variation, wherein the RPG elements pack is included with it, with everything integrated into the cutscene system. The Utility Pack and Map System have instructions to integrate tham as well, so that would be the most complete package you can get as of now.

Also replying your questions from the other thread, I haven't made anything publicly available regarding a stand alone battle system.

I still have a bunch of documentation, revisions and video tutorials to work on, and at least two more behaviors to create for the kit. So I can say work is constantly being done.

Are you sure that really matters? the hard part is the diaologue/cutscenes and then the battle system, which is surely based on modifying whatever you provide. even something like a knockback after getting hit by an enemy is impossible for me lol. I felt we had a complete battle system in 2013 for this kit that only required like one AI Wizard enemy + party following template to create basically anything.

Looking forward to the next updates from you.

If you mean documentation, yes. Without it, my work isn't worth much. Whatever sample content I create might fit your needs, but that won't be enough for everyone wanting to use it.
---

I've update the cutscene pack with a few fixes for the Dialog Interface behavior, as well as expanded documentation on it, hopefully that will help until I start uploading the documentation videos on this. I've also uploaded an HTML5 build of the showcase game to the itch.io page, so everyone who hasn't played it yet can probably do so now.

And more importantly: I've uploaded to the page a free version of the cutscene system. It contains one behavior, a simplified version of my Events Manager, which is used to create cutscene scripts. It doesn't have nearly as many features as the full version, but combined with the HTML5 showcase game, it can give you a good idea of what's possible. And hey, if the free version is all you need, knock yourself out! It's the one used in my and Koikidd's Stencyl Jam 19 entry, Reset Co. Specifically, it was used for the intro cutscenes, and the start/end stage sequences.

Do you only need to open the .stencyl sample game to get full access to everything in this kit?

So you only need to open up the $12 sample to get everything included in the kit?

I tried to put multiple treasure chests around the town, with no avail they did not work after the first one was opened.

Also tried to put the Boss and boss stone in the town and the boss wouldn't activate.

Lol I suck. I need more premade stuff, like re usable treasure chests for example. Dont feel like even trying to learn essentially.

Read the documentation, both the main documentation and the sample game one. There are also import instructions on the itch.io page. This is a resource pack, not a kit, so you import it into existing games to use it. Sample game is there to show some possibilities, and how the behaviors cna be configured and used.

The treasure chest you mentioned is already reusable. The documentation explains how it works and how you can reuse it. It also explain how the boss AI works and how it is activated.

If you don't try to learn it, neither this nor any other resource pack I make will be useful, I'm afraid.

But you see, Im really good at modifying everything in a kit styled thing of yours to make anything possible.

Yeah the sample game cutscene seemed like a kit to me so I bought it immediately but I lost motivation with only cut scenes. I need stuff like Dash or wall jumping for a variety of platforming from your Player actor.

Also I know I constantly bring this up, but don't forget about the combo sword swings from the old kit you had with the Red Slime enemies.  I just love the legend of Zelda side scrolling battle system with RPG damage numbers. I cant find this gameplay type anywhere other than in memories of your kit.

I've started making the video tutorial series for this resource pack. It will be done in several parts, so expect more videos soon! For the first part, I'm covering the basics of the Cutscene Pack, and using the free demo version to show how you can create your cutscene scripts. I hope this will make this pack more useful. The second part will cover the dialog interface more in-depth.

You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/PLT9U_pdCVk

How do you make an actor follow the main player? I need that for a cutscene/gameplay part.

Like turning the follow point behavior to something that moves and jumps after you.

The Follow Point behavior isn't designed exactly for that, and it's the one in the Utility Pack. You can design the entire path the actor will move through using that behavior, if that fits what you need.

The cutscene pack contains the "Go to Point" behavior which you can use for that purpose, by using it's custom block to make your actor move towards the player's position, or to close to its position. The sample game also has an example of an actor (the Penguin) with a cutscene script that goes to the player's X position every few seconds, you can use that as reference.

New tutorial video on the Dialog Interface behavior. Watch it here!

This explains in detail what each attribute does, to help you customize your own dialog layouts. It also explains all the text special commands, and shows a few scripts featuring dialog. Hopefully this will give you an idea on what this pack can do, and for those who already have it, help you make better use of it.
