I need help with attaching a JDK

I have JDK 18.0.1.1 installed at path "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-18.0.1.1"

I have JAVA_HOME variable set to the same path

When I put the path into stencyl it always turns red and gives me an error log:

I looked through other posts and online but nothing worked. I have had this problem before but I forgot how I fixed it.

Yeah, I have the same problem (except I am new to Stencyl and never solved this problem). I don't know how to get Stencyl to recognize that I have java JDK (it's higher than version 8 btw).

You need to download version 8 specifically for it to work.

Yeah both of those worked I was using java 18 but switched to a lower version! Thanks, both of you!
