Can I use the free version of Stencyl for commercial purposes?

Hello. I am new to Stencyl (though I have looked at it before, but was hesitant to study it). I read in one of the forum topics that the free version can supposedly be used for commercial purposes. Officially, it is stated that the free version is for for individual, personal use, but whether commercial use is allowed is not stated.

So I would like to know:

1. Is it really possible to make games for sale on the free version of Stencyl?

2. If so, is it possible to make an html5 game on the free version, and then pack it into a desktop application using electron.js or nwjs and sell it, for example, through Steam?

3. Are there any limitations on functionality in the free version, or is the difference with paid subscriptions only in the supported build formats?

1. Yes, HTML5 export currently has no restrictions, and you're free to sell them.

2. Uh, probably technically yes. Whether that goes against the spirit of the license or not is another question. Nobody will come after you for that though.

3. No limitations, but the subscription also allows you to get private builds, which are sometimes updated more frequently than the public ones.
