How do I communicate between the swf and the page js?

I am working on something that would very highly benefit from being able to send a message to the outside javascript of the page - is there some way to do this via Stencyl? I'm fine with any combination of blocks or even raw sourcecode if needed...

Bonus points if you know of a way to communicate back...
