Stencyl 3.0 - Design Once. Play Anywhere. (Soft Launched on Feb 20th)

There is talk of a public beta as the private one seems to be going on for longer than expected. I recommend that everyone just be patient, 3.0 will be well worth the wait!

It doesn't get much "later in 2012" than this.....when is it coming? I want to build a new game, but I don't want to switch versions in the middle of the project....

Nobody at the moment can give you a date to when it is coming besides Jon. Like I said above, a public beta is being talked about and might be released soon. I would recommend working on your game in 2.2, the transition to 3.0 should be fairly easy.

You know, a miracle would sometimes appear around this time(Developers, this is not an encouragement/manifestation of any kind saying 'Speed it up!').

i wanted to use Stencyl 3.0 for Ludum Dare ... i have nothing better on Linux

I have to say this is a bit ridiculous, we have been waiting months, and you still fail to even update the blog. But, since this is going to be mostly free we really have nothing to complain about though.

Jon is quite busy right now fixing tons of bugs in Stencyl right now (you wouldn't want him to release a product with bugs, would you?). That is probably why there has been no recent blog posts

I was wondering what is more budget friendly, buying stencyl 2 atm or waiting for stencyl 3 and buying it from scratch?
