To me it seems that the release is mainly waiting on one super annoying bug. It has to do with Box2D implementation and causes "snagging" on tiles. I'd say be patient, and if you're not, buy Stencyl. 3.0 is definitely worth it.
it seems that there's a couple collision related bugs such as the snagging issue us testers have found that seem to be the most pressing unsolved ones. other than those I can't think of any major issues.
See, this is what I'm talking/typing about. I think this would have made an excellent blog posting...
1 - It's very encouraging ...because it seems like Stencyl 3.0 is close to launch.
2 - I was like, "Ah... Box2D!" ...because it's popular software in Game Development.
Also, there's this...
I can't wait for it to come out. And I'm proud to have personally identified several bugs that were then fixed
I feel like I am personally responsible for stencyl's success
By making people part of the development process, it strengthens the community. If Jon/Joe are too busy to write it, I think a blog posting from one of the Beta testers would have been cool too.
I'm not trying to win a debate. I can totally understand staying focused on the job. Like me... maybe I should be working instead of posting this.
