I don't follow E3 much, so I don't know what happened today, but after browsing a few minutes on their sites, the only games on E3 I have interest in are:
Dead Island.I love zombie related games, but I always wait for a few non-professional gameplay videos before deciding if it's worth buying.
Metro Last Light.Loved the book, liked the game. I shall follow this one with high anticipation.
Saints Row the third.Loved the 2nd, it was a very entertaining sandbox gta-like mayhem.
Modern Warfare 3.I never really understood why being a CoD player was so pejorative, but I have no shame to admit I enjoy these games. Every now and then I like playing extremely scripted cinematic games, It's like watching a semi-interactive movie.
The multiplayer is far from groundbreaking but can be enjoyable if you disable the voicechat.
Deus Ex: Human RevolutionNot sure about him, nice trailer and all, but having the same name as a 10 year old game who was awesome back then doesn't make this one automatically good... wait & see.
- I think I will probably end up buying Saints Row the third, I have faith in this one.
- I love games like Victoria 2 and Hearts of Iron 2/3. I hesitate between being disappointed that these kind of games never got big media coverage and being happy that big industries are not trying to rape and deface them. Paradox interactive are present but I think it's for totally different type of games.
- I was not expecting anything original or innovative, I only find this in a few indie games.
