Mochi services in design-mode block form- http://www.mochimedia.com/developers/

Here's people integrating them into flixel: https://www.mochimedia.com/community/forum/topic/flixel-mochi-services

The AS3 code for the API is already split up into blocks in the documentation, a coder needs to simply  intergrate the code. It seems like a simple job for a good programmer, but difficult for artists like myself. I also think this would benefit every developer massively.

From what I can tell, and axcho might be able to chime in, is that integrating mochi ads or live updates requires us to ditch the Flixel preloader. We can do that, but it's a tradeoff that may surprise some users.

The actual API is trivial to implement - submitting scores and stuff like that is a piece of cake to do. It's just that preloader part that's made this a little more than an easy drop-in for us.

Maybe add a switch whether or no people wants Mochi preloader. As far as I can tell (i've read mochi documentation) it is possible to invoke ads from within the game.

There are no impossible things. There is only lack of skills.

I would like to add this feature: To be able to use the take screenshot function to take a picuture of all your code in a program so I don't have to go to each behavior and take a screenshot. Thanks!
Visit Reddit's Stencyl page and contribute to spread the word about this amazing program!

Definitely TMX map support. Just the ability to overlay each tile with collidable properties would be enough for me.

http://www.mapeditor.org/

Tiled is a general purpose tile map editor. It's built to be easy to use, yet flexible enough to work with varying game engines, whether your game is an RPG, platformer or Breakout clone. Tiled is free software and written in C++, using the Qt application framework. The main features in a nutshell:
  • General purpose tile map editor with XML-based map format
  • Supports orthogonal and isometric maps
  • Custom objects can be placed with pixel precision
  • Full undo/redo and copy/paste support
  • Add custom properties to tiles, layers, objects or the map
  • Automatically reloads tilesets when changed externally
  • Resize or offset your tile map later as needed
  • Efficient tile editing tools like stamp and fill brushes
  • Supports input/output plugins to open and save files in custom formats

Sounds like Stencyl's Scene Designer for the most part (except iso and undo/copy-paste bits) to me. But someone could make CM behavior which would utilize TileAPI to build map according to TMX file (flash can read xml, so it is only needed to write importer and embed tmx files).

Nothing to bother ST though, as they made excellent IMO editor for levels (scene designer) which has almost every feature you listed except iso and copy/paste (I'm not sure if it doesn't have undo/redo anymore)

We're already planning to majorly improve the Scene Designer for StencylWorks 2.1 (2.0 is already overbooked for anything more). Not that there's anything wrong with it today, but we want to bring it up to pro-grade and know exactly what needs to be done to accomplish that.

I believe Jon is currently referring to extensions for Stencyl Works itself, if I'm not mistaken extensions for the engine (i.e. a system for managing New Grounds medals) is coming in 2.0?

I'm new to Stencyl, so I'm not sure if this is implemented and I just missed it or if it's not part of Stencyl. However, I would like an extension that would assist with building actors from scratch. Something that comes with various styles and colors of hair, clothes, weapons, animations. I've only seen one site that has something similar, but I haven't been successful in using it for actors.
