MY dream has and will be to have a team to make games with each other. So If anyone would like to be willing to make a game with me PM me. I would also like to point out that I love Stencyl and it is pretty fun but I am just a beginner.

Wrong section. Should be moved to Developer exchange.
Also, you're less likely to get a dedicated team unless you show us what you can do.

In a basic 2D game you need to consider how many things are needed to make it work:
- Graphics design - Sprites
                        - Interface
                        - Terrain
- Sound - Music
            - SFX
            (- Voice over/ acting)
- Programming - The engine
                      - The game-play
- Writing - The story
             - The script
Etc

Many of those can be done by one person but often they're very different skills and you'd need a person to fill each spot for a larger game.

So what are you looking for and what can you do? :)

I need help on the following,

Programming I don't do that kind of stuff, I realize that I will in order to make a game lol but I just need to be taught.

SFX which mean sound effects right? If so that would be nice to have help on that.

I can do the story but i need help with the script.

PM me if you think you could help me

It looks like you're trying to get people to make games for you without you actually contributing anything.  If there isn't a part of game development you can do without help, then you need to learn how to do one of those things before looking for a team.

Rob, Those are the only things that I need help with I can do the story, level design all I need is some help with programming and voice acting that would be fun. And What is going to happen is I think that we should make an account where we (the team) would be able to upload games to. I just started like 2 days ago please give me some slack.

As we said in PM's, I can help with some programming.
As for voice acting, if you need any cute birdy sounds, I've got a young female cockatoo, though she usually doesn't do what I tell her to do unless I promise her a car.

You should post some examples of what you can do then.  Post an image of a level you designed and/or a story you created.

@SWATLLAMA LOL :D

@Anirath: I recommend to try smaller fast projects to learn as much as you can from the software. We all began it this way and didn't had a team to aid us. Even now with 1 year experience it is very hard to find people that want to work with you without spending direkt money, which is just a coverage of course, that they don't "waste" their time.

I don't to be harsh but it's better to start with small steps instead of asking for help from experienced people or other beginner which might.

The "ask a question" section is always a good point when walking into a big problem with your future projects.

As speaking of my own experience, creating Tic Tac Toe is really a good start to learn a lot about the software.

Just make the first steps for yourself. :)

Its not about the money of course, I just wanted to tell that you should learn the basics of the software at first and then it will be a lot easier to convince people to work with you. The workflow of your collaboration projects will also become more faster and more professional.

There are developers out there who needed 1-2 years to gain a constant fanbase of >100 people and others have more or less, but no one will become popular by the first project and without some experience with the software, they all have the now-how of their work, which they didn't learn in a year.

By the way I am willing to help, as others too, but you should at least create a basic game idea and then polish it up as you can as your first game. When you have questions everyone here help you without a reward. Just try it!

I'm still not popular after my 8th project :P.  Anirath, you aren't going to make a big game with no prior experience.  Take Satyre's advice and start with something small and simple.
