Whats fps?

One of my games has a comment complaning that it has 13 fps, what is fps? I couldent find anything about that on the fourms.

FPS is Frames Per Second. Basically, how fast the game refreshes the image on the screen. Low FPS means the game is jerky and skips around - usually making it difficult to impossible to play.

Fps is frames per secvond. It means how many.times the image updates every second. If someone got low fps its probably just their computer but if you link to the game, mabye I can check whever it has frame rate issues globbaly.

I checked your game, it seems to have framerate issues. I can't find any problems with it online. Is the game on StencylForge, cause then i would check the code or one of the experts could do that.

A ton of actors woudn't really be the case, only if there were lots of actors actually loaded at one time. Try and cut down how many there are at one time loaded or mabye some actors could just be part of the backround and regions so you can tell when they collide.

What makes the fps low isn't the actors in the game files but the actors that are currently open in the scene that you are playing. About how to highten the fps, you could replace some of the actors with regions and/or terrains. Also you could get a behaviour that freezes the actors when off screen so it is only simulating the actors that you can see on screen. I don't know what this behaviour is called (or mabye it is even a setting!!!!!) but can someone help with that?

The only tiles are the water the rest is actors, this was because I dident know how to change collisions for goups yet, now I do.
