Stencyl 3.0

Stencyl Community,

Anyone seen updated news about Stencyl 3.0 I've checked the website, Facebook, Twitter all those social media's maybe nothing has been said. I'm just impatiently curious about when they'll shout out that update would be great.

Question, to ask also does Stencyl already use JavaScript? just asking no need to get hyped up if not will they release in with another version in the upcoming years, hopefully thanks again for sharing a great product Jonathan Chung.

No, Stencyl 3 has been discontinued. In fact, this whole website is about to be shut down in 3....2...1....

The only news the Stencyl team has given is that they are still in development of 3.0. As for your other question, I believe the Stencyl program is coded in Java (not sure if it is JavaScript, but I know it is some form of Java).

Also, a question for you, S3i. Why do you type all of your posts in a different font? Why not just use the default one?

Javascript != Java.

It is coded in Java. Javascript and Java are NOT the same. Their syntax is similar, but one is not based off the other.
