Yes I got the version on Stencyl.com to update too.

The game has now 4 different control styles, it's also available at Newgrounds! Complete with Scoreboards and Medals!

I am working on a Checkpoint System, but this being a hardcore game, we need a suitable punishment for using it. No achievements unlock when you are using it?

Yeah, that sounds reasonable.

I've updated the Stencyl version of the game, 1.4 adds Checkpoints, they are off by default, and when turned on, they appear on the longest and hardest stages. If you use them though, you will not earn achievements from secret stages and bosses.

I would appreciate if you test it out and tell me how it is working, if there is no problems I will update Newgrounds and Kongregate version too.

This game is epic. It's now one of my favorite platformers of all time.

Haha agreed. Me and my friend played this game during our CAD/D class like the entire period for 3 days lol.

Haha, I am glad you like the game. It has gained quite a good reception from the hardcore crowd, which it was aimed for.

After I finish my other more urgent projects, I will start to work on a mobile version of the game!

I just bought a MacBook, iPod Touch and Dev license. I start by creating iPhone app of the game, then I will create Android version when Stencyl's Android support is released.

Some stages will be redesigned or changed to entirely new stages, because touch screen controls aren't as accurate as a keyboard. I will probably add a mobile version exclusive dungeon to the game as well!

Here is some concept art of the main character and some planning how I want the game to look on mobile screen:

for the mobile version I am planning to rename the game Dangeron! - Dangerous Dungeons. I am still designing a new logo, but I think I am shortly getting there. I need your opinions, what could I improve and change in the new logo:

I would not change the name. People that were familiar with the original might see this and think it's a knockoff or something.

As a counterpoint, the original name isn't going to look so hot on an iPhone home screen. It will look like Dangerous... or something like that.

Even if it still has my name and portfolio link in it? I am aware it might confuse some people, but "Dangerous Dungeons" isn't exactly the most practical name, I like them short and sweet.

I might keep the flash version just DD and have the mobile versions called Dangeron! But I am still thinking about it.

I dont think people click things like that, theyd rather just play the game.I like the name Dangerous Dungeouns. It has the Retro hardcore feel you always mention. I know you're the creator so you can obviously do whatever you want, but the name Dangeron! Doesn't tell me anything about it where as the former gets pretty to the point about it.

Any chance of a Bandits game in the future?
