Does anyone know if 3D stencyl is possible?

The closest we'd get is a 3D branch of flash, I asked this a while back and this is what I got.

i think i remember somebody putting something out a while back during the beta that simulated 3D, but i'm not exactly sure where it is, or how good it was. But i'm sure that means that there is at least hope.

Those 2 who played with 3D in beta were Rhys and Katana if you want to know who them were.

//edit: Also I've suggested Mode 7 which is kinda 3D, but no one could make one (Recently we have few good AS3 coders such as niccosw and herby so maybe they could implement something like that?)

There are no impossible things. There is only lack of skills.

The 3D as the general audience perceives it is not on Stencyl's roadmap.

It's possible to simulate a 3D effect on Stencyl, sure, I just don't think it'd be practical if you wanted something along the lines of an FPS.

You know that re-making Doom 1 engine in stencyl would be entirely possible? Alexin worked on it for a while, maybe he made progress (first demo displayed just plane with doom wall texture which you could rotate). So FPS is possible (but, of course, hard). And with adding freelook we'd have Duke3d clone (the only difference in duke3d and doom graphics engines was that in D3D you could make room under room and in doom you couldn't)

It is possible to make a 3d engine if you can move differend imiges on the screen at the same time
then you get a 3d filling but everything is still in 2d.
