Well i cannot 'provide' statistics because of NDA, but i have been through it myself.. the sales on mac app store for a product were less than 10 percent of total sale an apple platforms..

I haven't taken the iOS plunge yet so can't compare the two. But that's why I'm now here using Stencyl.

But I have used the Mac App Store... and while I'll be comparing two separate games the difference in sales says something for the Mac App Store advantage.

Soulless - sold from my own website (doesn't meet the MAS guidelines) 30 sales.
Powerslam - sold on the Mac App Store 300 sales.

So I had to give it a go.
And, it works on Stencyl 3.0!
Mac game nr. 2 is in review, and they passed in iOs versions, so my hopes are up.
The point is that Mac App store builds in 3.0 are possible and working like a breeze.
Come on, Stencylers, the Mac app store is underpopulated, and we can do something about it!
