Honestly, I'd rather go through fifteen levels of polished, interesting, and engaging game play than slog through a hundred that have been hastily thrown together. If you can get both though...

spend a long time making 50 crazy awesome levels, dont rush to get the game out.
WAY
better if u have 50 very polished levels.
Only the determined can even try to make a game!

A game is played because someone wants to play it.
I prefer by far the game itself to create new contents for the players:D
Anyway achievements can be used to expand the game(like beat all this using a wooden herring as sword).Of course for the dev is trivially easy to make impossible achievements to expand it till The End Of Times^^
