The game seems very difficult according to how limited of a space and how random the colored blocks are. There should be difficulty levels.

Other than that, this has a good gameplay and I hope to see more from this game.

Brilliant this has come on leaps and bounds since the original prototype.
Scored 1400 on my first play, I like the inclusion of diagonal matching!
Also like the pixel work

Yeah, the diagonal matching is a big plus :) it's not auto-lose anymore once you have a few rows with mismatched colors.

thanks for the feedback!
the concept comes along nicely. i had a difficulty progression in the first place, but it didn't felt to good, maybe i need to work on that again. other than that i had serveral ideas for more special items, but in the end i like the simplicity. so i will try to release a minimal version first and see if people like the idea and if, i will enhance the gameplay with more advanced jokers, like bombs, row/colum remover etc.

in terms of theme i'm not sure right now, i had the idea of having the user fill up kid's cornets with icream, but a collegue was right an said that it is pretty sad when the ice disappears. so right now im searching for a less generic idea than gems...

hey ho!

Been trying some different themes lately. The first idea we had was about stacking icecream, which is a really nice theme, but unfortunately it doesen't fit the gameplay too well. Because you want a lot of icecream to pile up, but to score many points you need to remove the icream, which isn't a very fun task to do.
The next thing we're trying out is a more character based approach. The Gametokens will be small microbes that combine  into more evolved versions of them self. This way we can explain the matching and also the loose condition, because if the "Container" is full of microbes the game ends.

hey ho!

did a lot of brainstorming on the whole thing and came to the conclusion, that the first abstract theme that i used in the very first prototype was cool. I polished the "abstract" idea a little bit an i'm pretty confident with the outcome so far. The main menu will need some more work ;)! Also i came up with pretty decent name. The game is about matching/placing blocks in the gird. To get high scores your constantly trying to delete blocks. Which led to the name DELETER, which gets then stylized to DELET  R or DELETR.
Upates in the first post ;)

Yes, it looks great. Influenced by the recent release of Hundreds?

Also, "Highscore: 1337"  8)

Alternative spelling: DE1337R ;)

Edit: I'm kind of jealous how you manage to execute this simple idea so well. I think my problem with making games is that I always think too big...  :-\

Hey, two days of work behind.

Added Menus: About, IAP Unlock, Pause and Game End-Screen. Also polished the menu transitions. Gameplay still needs a lot of work. Gamecenter on iOS works. App works now on Web, iPhone, iPhone 4x and iPhone 5. On Mobile i'm going to use a limited 3 Plays system. When the 3 games are played a 10min refresh timer will start to count down. You will be able to unlock the full game for 99c (iOS Tier 1) to have unlimited plays.

Stencyl 3.0 is pretty awesome, even if some things still not working properly.

Updates in the first post, also Web-Gameplay is updated! Feel free to comment!

Cheers!

very nice. i'm looking forward to the final game.
i think you can add some particle effects and bounciness for spicing up the visual style.
and the menu-transitions can be faster…
