Complete the crash course. Look at Abigayl's tutorial afterwards. If you can't follow it then I'm not sure what anyone else can do for you.

Thanks for helping! I found about stencylforge. Its great for finding things i had no clue how to work.

That being said, definitely go through the Stencylpedia.  If you think Stencyl is hard, you should try REAL programming.  You have to build your own animating system, program your own collisions (nope, no little buttons you can click or things to drag to create those.)  Stencyl makes all of that look super easy.

Anyways, if you ever need help or demonstrations, let me know!  I'm always willing to help and I think I'm a pretty nice person.

i gave up 5 times before I figured out how to start.

Do one thing at a time. (Figure out your game type) then learn how to create an actor, then learn how to use attributes, then learn how to move an actor. one step at a time. Dont look at the big picture. And do every video tutorial whether you're going to utilize them at all or not. Even though you might not use the code it'll make you more familiar with what stencyl can do.

Don't give up!

Stencyl is not as hard as it seems and it has a really nice and involve comunity, always willing to help. Divide your game into small pieces and star looking in Stencylpedia or asking here in the forums.
