What type of jobs would there be in a town?

Am making a town for my rpg, and I would like to know all of the jobs available in a town in present times.

Accountant, librarian, shopkeeper, mechanic, police officer, nurse, fire officer, train driver, taxi driver, bus driver, street sweeper, barman.

The list could go on forever.  But should this really be in "Ask a Question" or "Game Ideas"?  I'm a little confused as to where some discussions go.
