Stencyl Jam 2013 - Over $1,000 in prizes - Ends April 30th (DEADLINE PASSED!)

Ya' know, I have found that as I near the end here, it may seem easy to start ignoring the "structured" approach I've taken to coding my game and start hastily coding in a sloppy manner. BAD IDEA. I already caught myself once and righted the ship. Anybody else like that?

My friend and I just released our first app and released it in the Norwegian App Store. It has reached the Top 3 among all free apps in the store in just two days. The language in the app is Norwegian and is only available in the Norwegian store. Could we still submit this app to the Stencyl Jam 2013?

Can I send my SWF to you through email Jon even though I'm not seeking a sponsorship? I am asking this because I want to keep the game private until after the contest.

If you aren't seeking a sponsorship then there is no reason to keep the game private.

The e-mail option is only for those who are seeking a sponsorship (and can prove that via a FGL link or other means).

I don't think I'll be able to make the contest, as much as I wanted to, I've been too behind on my various other projects and obligations. I did come up with a concept and do some work on it, got some basic graphics and gameplay working, but finishing it satisfactorily on time doesn't seem likely.

Sploot! elapsed time- not very long, effort- lots, quality- barely.

Needs some minor adjustments still (sound volume levels, graphic replacement for the two larger ships) but right now, I'm going out for lunch.

This stencylJam is looking like an unqualified SUCCESS, look at the large amount of entries and the high quality of work, let's hope the Stencyl `powers that be` take note and have another one soon
