As the post states, you must submit a complete game. What you have stated is eligible.

The post you are quoting is talking about cases where people have mostly finished their game. It is *not* about submitting incomplete games.

Oops I somehow missed that line in the original post. Probably was too excited! Thanks for clarifying.

Looking good. It seems your style has evolved into more vibrant and lively graphics.
Thanks! I try not to have a consistent artstyle throughout my games. That could get kinda boring. But yeah, these are certainly more vibrant than my other stuff.

Yeah, I am not going to win  :(
Why not? B[

I am so far behind. I scrapped my first idea after working on it for a few days, and now I just started what I hope to be my final project.

I think that is still eligible for the Jam then. It was published after this post was made then. :)
Don't look to me but rather to the One who is the reason for what I do. :)

If you need help, send me a PM. Even if I haven't been on in the forums in ages, I still receive those messages via email notifications. You can also reply to any of my forum posts, regardless of the age (especially if I created it), and I will likely reply.

If you want to see the programming behind certain types of games, feel free to check out my "Demo-" games on StencylForge (http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,16160.0.html)

I came in second in the three month (I think) Newgrounds Stencyl jam with a game that I made in two weeks. So you still have plenty of time.

I've already "scrapped" my first idea, as in I have determined its a little too extensive for this jam and I need to wait until I can properly design and build it (time-wise). I started early so I could determine whether or not I felt the game was feasible, and I have determined as stated. So yeah, don't get down on yourself. Just have fun with it. :)

Personally, I typed out multiple ideas and kind of saw where each one was headed. I used this to determine which game ideas had the most promise. Which looked and sounded fun? Which were feasible in the time frame alotted? Which would truly give that great gaming experience? Ask yourself questions like this.

At this point, I have another idea I have begun fleshing out... oh decisions, decisions...
Do NOT PM me your questions, because I likely will not respond. If I have replied to your question on the forum, keep using that topic. Thanks!

Could Re-makes enter to the contest?

Well, actually not a re-make, but I don't know how to call it.  I mean take the idea of something old and making it something new (like the jump from Conker Twelve Tails to Conkers Bad Fur Day).

I have a game totally planed for another system and engine, so, take the jump to stencyl means to re-do all the graphics, re-do all the design direction (game design, plot, story, etc) to fit with stencyl and make the programming from the beginning.

I mean, in this case I just take the idea, but the game is do it from scratch for stencyl.

Please tell me if it's possible, to start moving it... I just noticed this contest today -_-...

@EfrenStudios I think that will be acceptable as long as the game is clearly different than the other one.

As for me, I'll be submitting whatever games I start and finish between now and the contest end date (multiple entries are allowed).

Just want to respond to the questions about "does my game qualify?"

To reiterate again, we're not out to do a witch hunt or play "gotcha" - we place our trust in you to do the right thing, and if it's out of line, it's going to make its way out one way or another. It's not a lot of fun if we start enumerating every rule.

History says that the winning entries were made for the jam, in a blast of inspiration and took 2-3 weeks tops to do. I don't expect that to change.

@Efren - Remakes are fine.
