Hi, Now that the stancyl jam results are done, I would also like to share my thoughts and some things inside/about my game.  :D

Dragon Funflap is also my first game published using stencyl (Got another postponed/Unfinished Game)
I developed it within a month and collaborate with some music/SFX Designers.
I'm confident on the graphics of the game, because most people that test it love the cartoony graphics of it, But still that doesnt make the cut to win a place on the jam.

Here are some Early Sketches of the game

I'am Disappointed about my mochi earnings for this game

Just look how low that earnings is.. Guess I'll never gonna earn money on this game.
In the first week after I launch it, I get about 30k Impressions and $5 per day, but now I only get $0.5 per day.
Another Lesson I learned, I will put my future games into sponsorship even if I still didn't have a Stencyl subscription yet.

BTW I attached my Development Timeline below, if anyone is interested for that. I'd like to make these things to set my goals per day.

Well still enjoyed developing the game and learned a lot of things in the process (Atlease I got more things to show on my portfolio).
I will do my best again in the upcoming Newgrounds jam and this time I'll try to learn from my few mistakes and try to win harder  ;D

Congrats Again For all who entered this jam!  ;D

$0.10 CPM is about par for the course with Mochi - it's really a last resort form of monetization. You might have luck seeking a sponsorship, asking for a portion of the proceeds in advance and using that that to pay for a subscription that you can then use to deliver a splash-free game.

I guess This is what I will do for my future games.

Thanks for sharing your process. Very cool to see the early sketches all the way up to mochi earnings. It helps give some of us who are new to this a better idea of what to expect.
