(I'm not sure where this really belongs! I thought Game Ideas was the safest place, so someone feel free to move it if need be).
--- Quest Pals ---
So what is Quest Pals? Quest Pals is planned as an experiment in top-down, RPG-esque monster-raising and adventuring. Its something I started on the side more for fun than anything else. Its pretty bare bones right now, but I have a simple inventory system working, movement, and health up and running.
One of the things I wanted to do with this was provide companion tutorials on some of the stuff you see in the game. Being able to see a real example and implementation of what you are making in the tutorial is always more helpful than just guessing, right? Its part of what I'm doing on my blog to provide materials for beginning Stencylers and the game design crowd in general.
What do you think of this? Let me know!
