RevMob extension for Stencyl 3.x.  The extension is working on both iOS and Android. You have all the information on how to use it in the .pdf.

Special thanks to inovu who incentivized me to fix this extension for Stencyl 3.x.

PS: The extension was tested just a little so bugs my appear. If so post in this topic if you have problems with it.

This extension is not supported by me anymore, just by the community.

What is best for this network

First of all they are different because of the types of ads. Admob have small banner ads, Revmob(Chartboost also) have full screen ads with high eCPM. I saw an article on internet from a mobile dev dude that he was testing different(popular) ad networks and from his tests Admob gave the lowest income and Revmob the highest. Also Chartboost have full screen ads with high eCPM but i think their ads are all about games.

What i liked about RevMob was the real time dashboard reporting(well not real time but with 5 minutes delay or so) compared to admob.

Personally i will use Admob+RevMob. I can place Admob banners everywhere and RevMob ads in some places from time to time.

Thank you Arnold. Well the satisfaction I get from helping my own kind (read Game Developers) it's > than any badge :). Also i use these extension and if i made them why not to share them with others.

Well go ahead and share with us the result. I will do the same thing with my upcoming game. In my first game i used just admob. Made almost 10$ in 5weeks with it. But for the next one i will use a mix of Admob+RevMob

Who knows maybe in the future when i will have access to a Mac and an iOS device for testing...


Vungle(you know video ads) and basic Facebook extension will come in september. And maybe Flurry Analytics.

I was looking into this for iOS as well, and I noticed that RevMob has a lot of installation instructions for various engines.  Unity, Corona, Gideros, etc....

Since they seem to be reaching out and wanting to cover many engines, I emailed them about a Stencyl extension.  I think if more of us do so, that they will take notice and possibly release an official one.  Especially if someone like Jon could reach out directly and offer them help/access to do so.

There's no need to e-mail them because the problem is with OpenFL, not Stencyl.  While there is support for third-party .a libraries, there is no support for third-party frameworks.  Fixing that would require modifications to some OpenFL files.
