Well, I have been working on a game for the past few months, it is nearing completion and should be finished by the deadline. While getting a free subscription would be nice, I don't know whether I should enter my game in this or not, since it has been a while in the making, which seems to be of concern to a few people (which is understandable).

If you're wanting to get your game sponsored the E-Mail to stencyl will keep it confidential. When the last stencyljam was going on I was getting Mr. Tart sponsored. I wanted to be in the contest but I also didn't want to loose my major bid $XXXX. So that will keep it confidential and when you're ready to release you can!

Though it is possible I will have to do a private entry like Max said, unless the sponsorship process goes really smoothly and doesn't take a month.

Not to make you have second thoughts about not posting it. Just try something these things are fun.
needs a theme!I know the last one didn't have a theme.. but I always thought it needed one... Not naming names but I'm pretty sure I know some people entered things that they had worked on prior to the jam.
what happens if you work with a team and you win? who gets the subcription? do all get it? or just the person who's account it was made on?
