Space Laser (iOS & Android) - Launched (BETA)

Hey Everyone!
After a year of on & off part-time work, Space Laser is finally getting a BETA launch, give it a try!

iOS
ANDROID

It's FREE, and is a quite challenging puzzle game.
Any feedback is most appreciated.

As for the state, the game is still what I'd consider BETA (art for characters & ships is not finished, but I had to release it like that as the artist is temporarily unavailable and I wanted to gauge reaction to gameplay mechanics).

Screenshots look great, congratulations!

We had used Test Flight to beta test our core gameplay before filling out the rest of the game.  You can put your app there and invite people to test it and get feedback from them.

Thanks, I know testflight, it's great. However, I wanted some more 'random people' to play it and to try and see how it fares in some 'low-key' markets as a product (without any pushes).
Give it a try if you can download it from one of these app stores ;).

Just jumping in quickly you can now download it in all territories (or you will be able to in a couple hours).
EDIT: yes, appeared in the store now :)

Great art!
I think blocks got to have more clean colors and wider outline. Make it more visible and sharp. The same with power ups, I think they got to be in more contrast with the background.
But overall - 5!

As for data, I can share stuff, but I need to get some downloads first, which is incredibly hard due to how crowded appstore is (no press/ads/apple promo = you won't be even seen long enough to stand a chance).
We'll see, I'm not doing much yet as it's not all 'finished'.

I, ve just tried but only on ipod 4. Game looks very Pro but it is rather designed for bigger and stronger devices. on my ipod4 works very slow and hangs all the time :( . I will ask somebody for test on tablet or bigger iosvdev. Do You have a android version?

I havnt ported it to android yet. Will do in the future probably.
Did not test against iPod 4, performance might be weak on that :(.

Could You try to optimise a lottle bit? I'm sure that this game could work well on such device.
It works very slow even on first level (like fps=5 or 10 max.. Have You allready tried this on latest openFL release?
One more think. If the screen is not so big, the fingers hides the whole gameplay. I have not so huge fingers :) and if somebody really have, it could hide really a lot if You not play on tablet.

Getting through the noise in the appstore is incredibly hard.

Thank you for this ! this game gives me a motivation to keep on my own projects! I'm very frustrated every day , errors here, bugs there, failures everywhere :-( But this is the world of every developer. As for performance - I'll look into OpenFL once it allows for music streaming and all that.
As for gameplay (fingers covering screen), that indeed can be an issue on a phone. However, you can play by TAPPING instead of draggin (tap tile after tile, it will only count one shot). You can raise your finger any time you want, and resume from there, it won't penalize you! (that actually was the single most frustrating thing to code in properly, you have no idea how many different issues there are with that, saving last known position, penalizing from going more than 1 tile away from that position with your next move etc. :))

YEs, I can imagine:) I did 3 different versions of the mechanics of a little bit similar game so it is hard but also fun to solve these issues. I have such algorythms with much more actors and it works smooth on 1 core devices ( not more than 80 actors) but it is tricky becuse You have to be carefull with action and particles of every one small pieces which supposed to be created and moved.
