I cant say something about this without some other graphics you want to use with this. They have to fit together in detail and coloring. Maybe upload a Mockup with more graphics and a tiled version of the grass? So that we can see if theres a visible grid.

Use the edges of the tile to make it look less 'blocky'. The one thing you want from a ground tile is to make it NOT look like a tile. Not too bad, just use less lines.

If you have Photoshop, use the graininess filter and it will smooth out the edges and add a little more colour you may not think would work ;)

Thank you for the tips. I used to have photoshop, but my computer crashed and now i can't get it back.
but i'll try again soon. ^^

There's not very much difference between them all.  I also think that these would not work well with a sidescroller, but they seem perfectly suited for a golf game.  I guess they could also work for other top down games, but they just look like they belong in a golf game (probably because the different colors remind me of different parts of the field...not that I actually golf, though).
